i'm so over world of warcraft and him playing it all the frickin time... i could spit. he spends more time on that game than with me. he discards our plans because he "got in a raid"... i hate it. and i need to get away from here (here being this house)... 

Join the club..lol my hubby use to do that but I keep him busy with things to do now that he never has time..lol But when he first came home it was hours every night...I wanted to kill him!! 

Have you ever tried watching him play? I love watching my husband play video games. I wish my husband had more time to play. He never gets time to relax. 

uggh you have the same problem too huh lol yep well come to the club.. the only thing i cant tell you is try to talk to him and give him a heads up if you guys need to head out, that what i do and he started asking me if we were doing anything and if i say no then he would get on. 

Have you ever tried watching him play yea he actually thought me how to play and got me my own account and everything, its really fun , but theres a time to back off .(which is hard for man to understand lol) 

we had plans saturday afternoon that he knew about all week. did he go? nope. why? because of that effing game. he has his computer and a laptop... he'll hook up both of them and play. it's rediculous. why does anyone want to play a game YOU CAN NEVER BEAT. i sat with him a couple of times trying to play- just to shut him up and say i tried... i can't even get the stupid characters to move in the right direction. and then it's just killing the same things over and over. it's .... uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i could kill the guy who invented it. 

yeah a friend of mine and her hubby and their daughter play that all the time... ,, i just want to shoot her hubby he rather play that then live in the real world. 

wow ....so glad my honey never got into the video game phase. he is however obsessed with sports. he doesnt change plans or not do something cause of a game though....used too but not anymore since i got him dvr. now he is all about the family:) took him about 8 years but it was worth the wait haha. 

i dont get that game... lol I guess imnot cool . lol 

anyone who doesn't get or doesn't play that game is super cool in my book.

my hubby got me into wow last year and at first i was so against it till he had me create a character then ive been hooked on it since:) its like our hobby though, we play it together as we have our own accounts but when we have outdoor plans, etc,..he will stop and not make a big deal about it..its a really fun game and i love watching him play..i like it as you can see:)

I really think it might have to do with age and phases. Mine grew out of it. 

that use to be me, the complaining wife, lol. unfortunately for my husband I came back from NY with an attitude that I wasn't going to yell, nag, argue, complain, just get even. After my household is fed, my children are sleeping, my house is clean I get on the playstation and play Guitar Hero or Rock Band for about 1 every night. By the time I've finished doing everything and he's to tired to play. It's funny, you have to hear him complaining the way I use to complain. HAHAHA revenge is so SWEET!!!! Oh, then there's I'm so tired at the end of the week from being the HOUSE SLAVE and playing all night long that on Saturdays he has to get up at 8am to feed his children. HAHAHA 

lol ladyb, yeah i sometimes couldnt sleep so id get on the game and he would be mad at me but id get off just cuz i know he'd do the same for me..but i make fun of him now because he got me into this..i just remember fighting with him at first because i heard so many bad stories about wow and that it caused fights so i didnt want that game in our home..you definetely need to get breaks from it though and spend time with family..:) 

my hubby didnt get into wow that I know of, I know he was playing eudemons online before he went to training and we would either sit and take turns on the xbox or play something like lotr together. I miss sitting with him watching him play his games while I read. It was nice quality quiet time together. 

I wish my hubby would play wit me see i'm the game freak but i never hardly get to play!!! I played the Wii for the first time today and I WANT one!!!!LOL 

I have played WoW for over 3 years now, and I can tell you, it has its highs and lows. It started when I would get mad at the hubby playing. Then he made me make a char. Then it took off. I was new in the area and hadn't made friends yet and I made a ton playing WoW. so that was the turn on for me. But I do love playing that game! Unfortunately, its a HUGE time sink! The hubby and I usually play together, but I like playing it on my own as well. Rich has never played WoW, he said it didn't interest him.... now the 360 gets him in trouble. *lol* We'd actually came to an agreement for weekends he gets to play 4-6 hrs on each day depending if there is other stuff that needs to be done. For a while though it got really bad and he'd play non stop, and after we had to send it in for repairs he realized what was going on and he's changed it a lot. 

yeah my friends hubby and his daughter 2 saturdays ago i came over and got his wife and we had a day just her and I . we left a lil after 10 am and didnt get back home until just after 6:30 pm. her hubby and daughter were still playing that darn game and they stay on it i swear all night and into the sunday as well. the worst part is ... it was lunch time for he and the kids and instead of giving them left overs he lets them eat junk food, instead of gettin up off his butt and fixing his kids something,,,, that ticked me off. i can understand I used to play roller coaster tycoon that way, but then it got old and now i play yahoo games or candystand games and i set myself a tiem limit. my bad had to vent that again.
