I could host....my backyard is awesome and kid friendly....or there's the community building..i have a card table the community center has tons of tables....all we need to do is coordinate...snacks...games....Friday nights r good for me...I'm gonna b gone whole month of june though...

I posted the same thing about a month and a half ago but no one really responded. So I posted on another site and got about 8 responses. I have one starting in 2 weeks from my yahoo group but I am alittle nervous since we all have only talked online. What games will be played at your party? The way we did it in Virginia is we all took turns hosting it at our houses and everyone brought something. We used to bring our wine coolers or whatever you wanted to bring to drink. Let me know how your trrying to do it...

provided my husband does get these orders to do hometown recruiting, i won't be here for june... however! i would love to host a night also... the only thing is, i don't have any kids, so my house isn't too kid friendly... but i'm sure we could work something out... i do have a spare br they could play in... or if someone had a game system, you could bring it w/ and hook it up to our TV... or something!

lol ladyb im sure someone wouldn't mind teaching you im not tryna get anyone drunk but i understand where ur coming from around the kids though so maybe we could make margarita night a seperate event jus for us ladies no kids provided everyone can find a baby sitter 

Nicki Mine is June 14th. If anyone else wants to come just let me know. But its for adults only unless your kids are older. Mine will be fed and in their rooms before mine starts so they will not be in the way. If you want to bring drinks thats fine also but I wouldnt recommend anything to strong since you will be driving home. I drink margaritas but never made them before so maybe someone could tach me,lol. Texastornado I will have to miss the one this Sat because I have to give my rental car back Wednesday. My husband will be here soon and we are going to pick out my new ride but I will definetely catch the next one.. 

vagirl- you can get diff margarita recipes off the internet or off some liquor bottles. someone else would have to make em though cuz i only know how to make strong drinks. Back home I'm known for my potent jello shots :D 

Ok so here's the deal....I don't want game night @ my house turn into bar night or nething....My husband would actually ask me to leave...we've had alot of issues with alcohol...so i am asking that no alcohol come to my house...plus i don't want people drivin even after one drink I've had a really good friend get killed by a driver that was drinkin'...and I don't think that our soldiers need to b worryin bout us when they r havin' other things to concentrate on.....so I need to know who def. wants to come...send me a message and tell me what direction u would b comin from and i'll send the directions....

yea-texas like i said since there would be children around then we should do somethin seperate that included drinks without the kids but i was in no way advocating drunk driving or alcoholism. I do drink but not to the point of severe intoxication. I wouldn't want anyone getting hurt after a night of fun. and no our hubby's dont need to worry about us, we're all grown and we should know how to conduct ourselves and stay out of trouble. but yea i understand that ur house is an alcohol free zone and i def respect that and vagirl- im sure no one thinks ur an alcoholic, at least i hope not shoot we were only talkin about margaritas lol 

Texas- def. see your point, I wouldn't want to drink @ your house if there were kids there, just not respectful to you and just not right. I drink, but I'm responsible and no if I'm driving not to drink a lot especially can't drink a lot because I gotta come back on post and that wouldn't be to good, me pulling up to the gate, intoxicated :-) So I'm def. responsible when it comes to that. I would just like to have a separate night to where we can get together and have like a "girl night" w/ a few drinks, that's all :-) 

ah that's cool i wasn't sayin anyone was an alcoholic ...LOL ...I was just sayin my hubby doesn't want me drinkin a sip.....cuz i don't know when to stop...if one person says one thing that i take wrong i drink like crazy ever since my accident....I don't get violent or nething just silly REALLY silly...(No i wasn't drinkin when i had my accident) I like one or two with the right person...or if my hubby is there to control me if something sets me off....but yeah....maybe we should organize a sleep over like the old days..(of course we'll have to find babysitters)LOL LOL!!!
