Well today is my birthday and I thought I would be ok with the dh being deployed, then 2 nights ago it kinda hit me hard. Today though I AM happy. I got woken up by an IM from my husband and got to talk to him for an hour. It made my day because I honestly wasn't sure he would be able to get online today. Its honestly hit or miss with him. So is it weird that while I really wish he was laying beside me, I am content and happy with the fact that I got to talk to him for one measly hour today?

Happy Birthday Megz, have a good one:) Yes and i totally understand the feeling..My day goes so much better when i get a call from hubby or an email..I haven't talked to my hubby in a week now but this morning he called me and i was sleeping:( However his vm just made my day too:)

happy birthday megz!! I been there and i guess its all about patience and maintaining! For me, I was so bummed due to deployment, we didnt get to spend our 1st anniversary together and a week prior to it I hadn't heard from him. As the day was getting closer I started feeling ill to the gut, but sure enough my baby made my day! Minutes to midnite he called and we were on the phone till I fell asleep. When I woke up, He had left a vm on the house phone! That was the sweetest! I hope you enjoy your birthday today! Am sure he would want you to!
