OK so I went to my DR yesterday right. I went cuz I was at the ER Tuesday night cuz my throat was swollen to the point where I almost couldnt swallow. SCARY.. Anyway, after almost 9 hours they come back with a Neg Strep test and they say its just allergies. They give me a steriod shot, in the butt, OUCH! And send me home. So I got see my DR Thursday morning. Mind you I have had allerigies ALL my life. She asked me if I have ever been tested I said no, she says OK we will test you. They set it up and prick me with at least 70 different things, I get EXTREMELY itchy right away. The nurse after she gets about 4 rows done says "It's going to itch dont scratch" I was like its already itching. Shes like Oh, wow you do have allergies. Anyways I wait the VERY LONG 17m (LOL) they come in get my results and tell me I'm done I can go home, and to just rinse off the spots with water, no need to wash (yah right) well before i leave i wash with water, the 8m it took me to drive home was KILLER. I get home take a shower and its pretty much better.... Well I wake up today and it feels like i have been pricked ALL OVER AGAIN! I had one arm that reacted immediately yesterday and the other didnt. Well i wake up and they are both itchy, and splotchy, i look diseased LOL... THe doc told me benedryl and itching cream if they still itched... Well problem I CANT take benedryl and the itching cream only works for a couple of mins... Does anyone know ANYTHING else that will take the itch away?!?!? I feel like I just wanna scratch my skin offfff!!!!!

do you take an allergy pill for your regular daily allergies ? Like i take allegra everyday because I am allergic to alot of outdoor crap! and do you think that it would help? how about an oatmeal bath? 

you might soak in an oatmeal bath to... that helps 

oatmeal bath may help as sated above alo vera loation or gel too cortizon cream

see if you can find jewelweed ointment. 

You can make a paste with vinegar and baking soda. Yes this will get fizzy but just mix until it's like toothpaste. This should help. The oatmeal too should really help. But you do need to take an antihistine like sudafed, claritin and you should take this for a couple so all that stuff gets out of your system. Hope this gives some relief
