Anyone know the number? I need to figure all that I need to do to get my son on (born in October). My husband is deployed and we live two hours from the nearest base. Anyone know what is required? I'm guessing on of these days I will have to go in.

You can go to any installation so as long as you hold an ID. We go to a Marine post all the time to shop when we go visit family.

yes you can! i got mine at an afb when my husband switched over to army and was away. and with an id card you can get on any base or post. 

you can even get an ID at a MEPs or big recruiting station, i am from a podunk town and they had me travel 40 miles to another town and i think it was something for the coast guard idk it was weird but i got one.
