im looking for advice. i have a 3 year old and im trying to find a house near a good school for him. any advice 

Many people say Cove is better than Killeen. I homeschooled all 3 of mine while we were at Hood so I'm not a personal reference to either. 

I loved Mae Stevens Elementary in Copperas Cove. 

I live across the street from Mae Stevens... Moving this week and my ex will be out of here next month if you're looking to rent a place :p 

We just moved to copperas cove in house creek north subdivision. I like it a lot. The school is just down the road. House creek elementary. I have 2 kids in school there and the preK is pretty great. The kids love the school and I love that it's 2 minutes away!
