I am a journalist working on a story about secondary trauma among military spouses and families. Specifically, I am looking at the ways in which combat PTSD affects the spouses and families of active duty service members. I will also investigate whether or not the military provides adequate mental health coverage to spouses who suffer from secondary trauma.

I am hoping to make contact with mental health care providers or counselors who work with military communities. I am also hoping to speak to anyone at all who has experience with this issue and is willing to talk to me honestly. I can keep names and identifying information confidential.
