Is this for the HOOD area only? I still have family in Texas and this would be amazing to do, I lost my mother to breast cancer and my grandmother has stage 4 breast cancer that was in remission but has returned with bone cancer as well! They are located aprox 2 hrs from HOOD.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother and Grandmother. Although we have made great strides in the fight against breast cancer, we still lose so many loved ones to this disease. I have had two loved ones recently undergo bilateral mastectomies. That is why we are doing the 3Day Walk For The Cure.

Unfortunately The Flock A Friend Fundraiser is currently limited to the Bell County area. To Flock someone 2 hours away would be a four hour drive to flock them then a four hour drive to pick them up. The donations go directly to The 3 Day Walk For The Cure and none of the donations come to any of us on the team. So the funds for gas come out of my pocket and would require 2 days set aside to drop them off and pick them up. We are limited to this area because there are only three of us on the team. I'm terribly sorry.

We will be wearing a sash for those that have had the disease and you can make a donation in their honor if you like. We would be honored to add their names to our sashes and walk the 60 miles for them. We now have 8 women and 1 man that we are doing the walk for.
