Hello. My name is Jennifer. I just recently married and my husband is in the army. He is stationed in Germany and is expected to deploy to Iraq in December. I live in Austin and work here as well. We plan to live in Austin when he comes back to the states. Im hoping anyway. Im looking to meet other army and/or military wives to have some sort of connections, as most of my friends are cavilians. Im so happy and honored to apart of this community and the Army. Im so proud of my husband! Although we are apart, we do email and chat and speak on the phone whenever possible. We do most every day except when he was in the field for training and Im expecting very little communication except letters..once he is in Iraq. I appreciate any support or advise anyone out there may have. My ears are open! Also...my husband is taking care of all my paper work...what is it that I need to do? Or should I just wait for my husband to tell me the next step as far as when and where to go to get my military I.D., benefits, post access...etc?
