well I am now getting things handled slowly, my next concern is a new church, this can be difficult for us. Im not too picky, a good christian community type church is great for me, but my husband really likes the more upbeat modern christian music and awana is also very important my kids all attend and love it. anyone with any ideas on where to begin our search? I have asked our pastor here he said he could do some research for me but he is so busy I hate to burden him. If anyone has any good or bad to share maybe it could help narrow down my search. Thank you

We go to Memorial Baptist on Trimmier (membc.org) They are very family friendly (we have 7 kids) The kids have a blast at AWANAS as well they are very military/deployment (were both military, I am deployed, he's deploying) friendly. The kids look forward to going to church and they have something for all ages. They are working with us to get the kids bussed to church while we are gone to take some of the burden off of our nanny. I highly recommend Memorial Baptist!!!

I always heard Christian House of Prayer is a good church. I went to a church on Lake Road. If you were here in NC, I would direct you to Breath of God NC, they even have online members who watch abroad. www.breathofgodnc.org

I had the same problem and have started attending the First Baptist Church of Killeen. I love it. It's very modern but family oriented at the same time and there are many activities going on all of the time.

I will put in my "find"...I love Grace Bible Church...so down to earth...love it... have tons of Bible Studies and even military based classes like "Heroes at Home" when your spouse is deployed.

www.begrace.org (sorry can't figure out the hyperlink, i added it but it didn't go there)
