We will be moving from Ft. Carson to Ft. Benning in October or so, hubs report date is the first week of November. Does anyone know if they also give kids days to miss while they are moving? This is my first time moving while the kids are in school and i really dont know where i can ask since it is different districts. Thanks in advance. 

You can talk to the school liason officer at Carson and ask for the information for the school liason officer at Benning, but Im pretty sure they understand about the PCSing during school

If you can find out where you will be living when you get to Benning (some posts will give you an address before you get there) you can use that as soon as you get there to get the kids enrolled in school again so there is very little time missed. Good luck!
