honestly its up to you. I wanted to do the renew the vows and big wedding at our 10 year, but recently decided Id rather spend the 10-20K that it would take for my "dream" wedding and go on a kickass honeymoon since we never got one 

We didn't have a wedding either so we are going on a cruise and renewing our vows on the beach or ship. 

Small wedding so there is more budget for the Vacation :) 

yea, weddings are over rated... you spend alllll that money and in about 6 hours, BAM! it's over.

spend it on a lavish vacation!! 

For our 25 year anniversary we will renew our vows on a beach in either Australia or Greece with our kids and their families. So a small wedding AND a vacation :) 

I say take some close relatives with you on a nice tropical island **puerto rico,hawaii,bahamas** have a small nice ceremony on the beach and then your adventure =] LOL but this is your day to shine! enjoy it to the fullest! and wow....it's been that long already? congrats!!! 

Thanks for all the input, yeah i really think i want to do both... the wedding wouldnt be that huge but still the church and white dress just a dream of mine...and yeah then on to the islands... it will be 10 years in 2013. can't wait we will see what happens :) 

My cousin paid for his parents and her parents and brothers plane tickets to cancun mexico. They did a tiny informal wedding on the beach then enjoyed a week in cancun. It was neat. 

that sounds awesome FLFC, do you have any idea who they used for travel ect. i hear sandels resorts are awesome. 

or you can do a wedding on a cruise line and take your family. we thought about doing that because it looked so fun... but we opted not to - we didn't want our family hangin around for what would have been our honeymoon. hahah
