Cool...we were on Oprah a year or so ago when she did a live remote at Bragg with Winona Judd. It was cool. 

Now they want to be all buddy buddy with the military? Cant tell an election year is coming up can you. Oprah has done several things with the military but Obama was the one with not wanting to give them a pay raise at all, originally wanted to up tricare costs etc... and less pay and benefits for the vets. After getting a huge petition he changed that around really quick. Now they want to play buddy buddy with the military and it makes me sick. 

DO we have a PRESIDENT?????

I say to myself do we have one?????? 

I wish we could like things on here. I try to watch my mouth since he is our commander in chief, but sometimes it can be hard lol. 

Has the military had a raise since he has been in office? I can't remember when they last got one.

I'm not watching. Then again, I never watch Oprah. 

I don't know that I will watch, but I will say this...

I don't like Obama (or his wife) any more than the next person, but regardless this brings attention nationally to the sacrifices we all make daily. Who cares who is talking about it, really. I'm glad to be recognized. 

I watched the tail end tonight... Michelle has vampire teeth.

I wasn't home when it aired but I DVRed it. I just now watched it and I am even more proud to be a part of this life.

Like I said before, who cares who it is that is talking about it. I honestly have a new respect for Michelle Obama now, even if what she said were only words, those words brought attention to the small percentage of the population that live this life daily and the sacrifices we all make.

The majority of Americans can't relate to the military lifestyle, they don't personally know anyone in the military and this has started to open some eyes. Long overdue if you ask me. I personally think this is big and can only hope that great things can come of it.

Not that I don't think the Wounded Warriors deserve the attention they get but there are more than just them out there. Our families are emotionally wounded from deployments. I'm so happy that this was addressed on Oprah, the typical military family.

Anyway, I'm not sure what my point is here, but Oprah's show really did inspire me.

I DID NOT WATCH THE SHOW but I will say this I agree with what your saying!!!!!

More ATTENTION needs to be given to families who have been on multiple deployments!!!!!!!!!!! I believe some of us have PTSD also from so many deployments some us our going thru 5 deployments some 6 something needs to be done soon do not forget about the spouse who is home 

I agree Im glad it brings some light to what we go through. It just makes me mad that now they want to "help" the military when they have been so horrible to the military.
